We're thankful you've come here to watch our service and to worship the one true God!

This was another exciting Sunday at Pilgrim Lutheran Church!  Once again, we had lots of great activities going on, starting with our Adult Bible study at 9:15 am, then our 10:30 am Worship service.  Afterward, we gathered for food and conversations, while the children enjoyed Sunday School.  These classes are full of activities and teaching, so the children learn how much God loves them!

 Old Testament:  Jeremiah 33:14–16
              Psalm:  Psalm 25:1–10
             Epistle:  1 Thessalonians 3:9–13
             Gospel:  Luke 19:28–40

OUR THEME FOR WORSHIP
Today is the last day of the Christian Year, which draws us to our own last day, and to The Last Day when Jesus Christ the Son of Man will return in power and glory to judge the world.  Your last days may be frightening; possibly days of suffering, likely full of uncertainty.  In today’s Gospel text, Jesus describes The Last Day, a frightening picture of chaos and confusion.  How does Jesus encourage you to live, awaiting the certainty of His return?
