Christ Healing Simon Peter’s Mother-in-Law by

Pilgrim Lutheran Church (Missouri Synod)
Burton, Michigan
We worship together, in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen
Greetings to each of you on this Lord's day!
OUR THEME FOR WORSHIP TODAY In today’s Gospel from Mark, Jesus says, “Let us go on to the next towns, that I may preach there also, for that is why I came out.” His ministry and mission for this world was to proclaim the good news of salvation for all people. Just as Jesus healed many during His earthly ministry, so He comes to us still with healing through the forgiveness of sins. Thanks be to God, for healing us!
Memory verse from our Scripture readings this week: Psalm 147:5
“Great is our Lord, and abundant in power;
His understanding is beyond measure.”
Stewardship verse
from our Scripture readings this week: Isaiah 40:28a
“Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator
of the ends of the earth.”
This
awesome and amazing God, Creator of everything, loves you! He cares for you in every little detail of
your life! He sent His Son Jesus to be
tortured and killed for your salvation!
In thanks and praise to Him, we are so honored and thrilled to be generous
with others, helping them and sharing this good news of Jesus Christ!
Due to technical difficulties, we only have the sermon to post this week. Please click HERE to watch the sermon.
