OUR THEME FOR WORSHIP
In the Jewish lives of Jesus and His disciples, today is the Feast of Unleavened Bread, which is called the Passover. This feast reminds us how the blood of a lamb protected God’s people from death in Egypt. But today Jesus does a new thing, Jesus gives us a new Passover. Tomorrow Jesus will sacrifice His own body & blood on the cross, and today He “pays forward” these gifts to us, instituting Holy Communion, His blessed supper. By forgiving your sins, Jesus passes over the punishment you deserve and sets you free to live a new life!
