Holy Thursday Worship Service

April 14, 2022

We're glad & thankful you've come here to watch our service and worship the one true God!

This is just a quick reminder that today is Holy Thursday, often called Maundy Thursday.  The word "Maundy" comes from the Latin word mandatum, meaning "command".  Just before celebrating the Passover feast with His disciples, St. John the Apostle recorded these words of Jesus:  "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another" (John 13:34).  Jesus demonstrated that command and attitude throughout His earthly ministry, including just prior to speaking these words as He washed the feet of His disciples.  So today is often called Maundy Thursday to draw attention to this command given by Jesus.

What better way is there to love your neighbor, than to invite a friend or family member to "check out" Pilgrim worship and hear God's word & forgiveness proclaimed!
