OUR THEME FOR WORSHIP SUNDAY
Our lives are full of signs. From simple to complex, in most cases we know what to do when we see a sign. When you see a flashing red light at an intersection of roads, you don’t start wondering why it is not purple, or shouldn’t it be flashing more slowly. Almost without thinking, you simply stop your car before the intersection and proceed when it is your turn.

Today’s gospel lesson details the first of Jesus’ signs, the wine miracle at a Cana wedding. Only the Apostle John records this event, and his telling of it raises many very interesting questions to be explored. What was Jesus up to, and what is in it for you & me?
