SCRIPTURE READINGS FOR TODAY
 Old Testament:  Daniel 12:1–3
              Psalm:  Psalm 16
             Epistle:  Hebrews 10:11–25
            Gospel:  Mark 13:1–13

OUR THEME FOR WORSHIP TODAY
There are lots of mysteries in life, some are engaging & fun to watch from a distance.  All of us can become entranced at times; “Where will this story turn next, how will it end?”  Other mysteries are painful and frightening to endure, and for many mysteries, we won’t live to see the ending.  Certainly, God’s promised ending of this world is a great mystery, about which God tells us a great deal in His Word.   He certainly tells us all we need to know.  In today’s Gospel, Jesus describes a harsh & frightening future for His disciples, for His Church and for us.  Living in the end-times is hard; how can we endure it?

We recently started a new Bible class on Holy Communion, the Lord's Supper!   We are enjoying lots of really good discussion and getting lots of questions answered.  If you'd like to watch videos of this study, please contact me.
