Day of Pentecost Worship at Pilgrim-Burton

Dry Bones     Dana Jensen

Today in worship we remembered the Day of Pentecost, on which the Holy Spirit was given to God's apostles and to His church on earth.  The sermon was based on a beautiful vision and promise God made to us, through His servant Ezekiel.  We explored this statement:
WHEN GOD BREATHES HIS WORD ON DEAD BONES,
                    HE RESTORES LIFE AND IDENTITY.

This promise and action by God is not only for a bunch of dry, dead bones, nor is it only for the exiled Israelite nation to whom Ezekiel was speaking.  This promise and action is for you and me, today!

Pray for and watch for the Holy Spirit to be extra-active in your lives this week!

Peace in Christ,
