On so many days it feels like we are hanging on by a thread.  In our Gospel reading for today, we will meet three such people.  For them, their “thread” was their faith in Jesus and this is true for us, too!  By faith, Jesus casts out your fear!

Sometimes Jesus calms the storms in our lives which frighten us, but sometimes He does not.  Do we still believe Jesus cares for us when the storms keep raging?  When Jesus calms our storms, do we remain afraid?  “Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey Him?”

Worship at Pilgrim-Burton Sunday June 6, 2021

  

Today is the Second Sunday after Pentecost and we gathered for worship at Pilgrim Lutheran in Burton and received the gifts God had prepared for us!  

The theme of the sermon was:  "OUR HOUSES ARE DIVIDED, BUT JESUS GIVES US RADICAL UNITY".
